Featherfotos offers a variety of photography programs depending on your interest.  Programs are one hour long with images choreographed to music and instructive narration.  Longer programs and group workshops can be arranged.

Basic Digital Photography

Do you want to learn how to take a better picture?
Do you have a digital camera and never take it off of automatic?
Learn about basic photography: composition, lighting, exposure and shutter speed.  Learn why, when and how to use the various modes on your digital camera. 
The program will help you understand the basic principles of photography and apply them to your photography.
This program is one hour long with images choreographed to music and a descriptive narration.  A group hands-on workshop can also be arranged.

Painting with your Camera: A Guide to Creative Digital Photography

Dare to Dream – Your creativity is only limited by your imagination.  With the cameras and computer programs available today, anyone can learn to create beautiful images that look like paintings.  The program will start by covering basic camera techniques such as depth of field and composition to produce an image closest to your idea.  We will then use Photoshop Elements to show you how to create the image of your dreams.  Techniques covered will include selection, layers and filters including keyboard shortcuts.   The program is approximately one hour long.
